Parking in downtown San Diego sucks! Let’s face it, nobody likes to come downtown and drive in circles trying to find a parking space. If you don’t live in a condo in downtown San Diego or rent, parking is always going to be tough!
In Little Italy, there is now a new parking garage on the corner of Cedar and Kettner. It’s a 7 story-parking garage with 3 floors underground. The garage can hold 640 cars with many spaces equipped for electric cars.
During working hours Monday through Friday, the garage will be private for the county and then available to the public in the evenings and weekends. This garage development was one of the remaining projects in the Waterfront Park construction that used to be 2 parking lots.
There are a few condo complexes that are located close to this garage that will help with guest parking for the allowed hours. Bella Via, Kettner Row and Lusso Lofts are all along Kettner Blvd close by.
