Lane field was the location in Downtown San Diego where the old Padres used to play along the Bay. Now, many years later, we have a new park; Lane Field Park. It’s not a baseball park, it’s a public park anyone can go and visit. You’ll will though, see a baseball diamond to remember the old baseball park.
Lane Field Park cost $5 million. It’s located in the Columbian District in Downtown San Diego. There will be a 400 unit hotel built to the east and another 400 hotel built to the south of the park. From The Grande and Electra, you can see all this happening outside your windows.
