Rock & Roll Marathon Finish Line in Downtown San Diego

If you were in downtown San Diego yesterday, you probably saw the race for the Rock & Roll Marathon.  This is an annual event that started back in 1998.  26 states and over 500,000 people attend each year to run the marathon or half marathon.  At each mile, rock & roll music is playing and there are fun water stations along the race.  This year, we had a world record broken…..Harriette Thompson, 91 ran the race in 7:07:42 and broke the fastest time for 90+ years of age.  She’s already raised over $90k for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training.  The race started in beside Balboa Park and ending in East Village in Downtown San Diego.
