San Diego Chargers and Oakland Raiders Move to LA

What’s going on with the San Diego Chargers and other NFL teams moving to new Stadiums? What’s the chatter?

Ok, this is what I know. The San Diego Chargers have wanted a new stadium for years now in San Diego County.  The 2 sites in consideration would be located on the current site or a new downtown San Diego site located in prime real estate in East Village.  Many years have gone bye without a new stadium and the Chargers still want a new stadium so now their looking towards LA.  The current major and the city council have agreed to do what they can do keep the Chargers in San Diego.

Oakland Raiders also wants a new stadium but it doesn’t look like Oakland isn’t doing much to build a new stadium for them so the team is looking elsewhere.

Both the Chargers and Oakland said they would move into this new stadium if their cities don’t build them their own stadium. It’s funny to think 2 rival teams play in the same stadium.

Saint Louis Rams owner Stan Kroenke might move the team to Inglewood, California but Saint Louis and the governor of Missouri are working to keep the team in town and build a new $1billion 64,000-seat stadium along the Mississippi riverfront.

There are many scenarios that could play out. San Diego, Oakland and St. Louis could all build their new stadiums and the teams stay put. St Louis could move to Inglewood. St Louis and the Chargers move into the new stadium in Carson while the Raiders move to St Louis. What will happen? Only time will tell.
