Located in the Cortez Hill district, 1620 5th ave is an office complex that sells for $18.5 million. The new owner is Bosa Development. Bosa is a developer from Vancouver Canada and has been a major real estate player in Downtown San Diego for the past decade and half. Bosa has built some of the finest downtown condos and also has many plots that he is planning to build on soon. I myself can’t wait for these new developments to take off.
The seller is Douglas Wilson and they too have built a couple of nice projects in the East Village. They developed Park Loft and The Mark; right across the street from each other in the East Village. Douglas Wilson’s headquarters are located within the complex at 1620 5th ave and they plan on staying. Let’s hope the Landlord and tenant can remain peaceful. 🙂
The office complex at 1620 5th Ave. looks like a very nice commercial development with glass windows surrounding the building. It stands 9 stories high and has 80,651 square feet of commercial space. There are 212 parking spaces available as well.
