The Holidays are here and we are beginning to have our work holiday parties and family dinners to celebrate this time of year. Yesterday I was invited to a friend’s Holiday dinner that was at Bottega Americano. I had never been to this restaurant so I was excited to see this newer restaurant that’s located in the East Village of San Diego.
Arriving at Bottega Americano, located within Thomas Jefferson building and across the street from Park Blvd East and Park Blvd West, I see they have both an indoor seating area as well as outdoor. I had just come from my own work Holiday party so I was not hungry but I did enjoy the ambiance with the high ceilings with different chandelier arrangements throughout the dining area. The cement columns supporting the structure of the building were tastefully designed with wood logs from floor to ceiling.
Although I did not have anything to eat, my friends did say the food was really good. I did have a couple glasses of their blonde beer on tap so I enjoyed that. If you are looking for a good recommendation for Italian food, I would suggest looking into Bottega Americano.
